Prefabricated Homes - Modular/Panelized
Our panelized homes use high-quality panelized wall systems, completely prefabricated from the design the OBM’s architect and customer, shipped and installed on site. Similar to traditional on-site construction framing, panelized homes use conventional construction methods, but the walls are pre-built at a manufacturing facility, saving time, material waste, and on-site labor costs.
Regarding cost, our structural timber frame packages generally start out at $140 per ft² with panelized packages starting at $125 per ft². The overall finished cost of an OBM Custom Home may range $350 to $450+ per ft² to finish, not including land or site work. Your final cost to build will vary depending on the location of the project, complexity of the design, and the price point of your interior finishes. In addition to working with our design team OBM Construction will assist you with the site prep/foundation, permits, interior design, etc.
Design Flexibility - Due to necessary load bearing walls in a conventional style panelized home, there are more layout limitations when compared to timber frame homes.
